Our Creative Journey
My name is Jessica and I like to create handmade pieces of art with my hands. I am native to Central Arkansas, more specifically North Little Rock. I graduated from UALR in 2015 with a Bachelors degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography. While at UALR I found myself taking mostly ceramics and metalsmithing.
My journey into the world of handmade jewelry began in my first “Jewelry Making and Metal Smithing” class in 2010 at UALR. It was here that I began to understand what the term “well crafted” meant. I love creating custom pieces that are unique to the wearer and give a sense of individuality. When I sit down at my jewelry bench, I make pieces that I would wear and if someone else is stoked on it and would wear it as well, then that’s a bonus!
